Flu vaccinations for employees begin

An annual fall tradition for Johns Hopkins employees—free flu vaccinations—has begun.

The inactivated influenza vaccine (injectable) and the live attenuated vaccine (FluMist) began being administered on the East Baltimore campus on Oct. 5, and the schedule has been released for other locations, including the Homewood and Mount Washington campuses.

The website also has information about vaccines for spouses/same-sex domestic partners and about the mandatory flu vaccination policy for health care providers.

New this year: Employees will be able to receive their flu shots at designated Walgreens pharmacies.
