Garden Plate, a new farm-to-table café, will open Aug. 31 in completely renovated space on the ninth floor of the Bloomberg School's Wolfe Street building.
Open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the café will offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks in a seating area that has views of the Baltimore harbor.
The new dining spot was inspired by a desire to expand Baltimore's local food system and to promote access to fresh, healthy foods.
Garden Plate will be open to all Johns Hopkins staff, faculty, and students, and their guests.
