Cyclists unite for Ride to Conquer Cancer

Do something big about cancer in 2015. Join the Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and Sibley Memorial, Suburban, and Howard County General hospitals, and help make an epic impact on cancer research and care.

The ride is a two-day, 150-mile cycling journey through the Capital region's striking landscapes and iconic areas. The event includes a midway overnight stop at a camp where participants will find pre-set tents, hot meals, showers, live entertainment, and more. Along the route, riders are supported by hundreds of crewmembers and volunteers.

This year's ride is set for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19 and 20. Register to ride, volunteer, or sponsor a rider here.

More than 1,000 riders participated in last year's inaugural event, which raised more than $2.6 million.
