A daylong event-planning workshop to be held on Thursday, July 30, will focus on the best practices of planning special events at Johns Hopkins.
Some of the topics that will be covered are university branding and messaging, green event planning, catering tips, event protocol, emergency and safety planning, venue options, contracts and purchasing policies, and more.
Attendees also will have time to network with other event planners.
All Johns Hopkins employees are invited to attend the workshop, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in 110 Hodson Hall on the Homewood campus.
