Study Title: Computerized Assessment of Motor Imitation (CAMI): Advancing the Validity, Scalability, and Neurophysiology of a Promising Phenotypic Biomarker for Autism Spectrum Disorder

What is this study investigating? Kennedy Krieger's Center for Neurodevelopmental and Imaging Research is currently enrolling participants into a research study examining the utility of a novel brain-imaging device, LUMO, and motor skills assessment, CAMI.

What will we need to do? Interested adults will need to complete a 15-minute screening call and questionnaires to determine if they are eligible. If eligible, participants complete a 4-hour visit to our center. During the visit, participants complete a brief IQ assessment, questionnaires, and a 2-hour session wearing the LUMO cap. During the 2-hour LUMO session, participants complete motor imitation activities, a word generation activity, oro-motor tasks, a finger-tapping exercise, and listen to stories. Please note that the stories include adult themes and strong language.

Additional Information: Since the LUMO device uses light sensors to measure the oxygen level is brain areas close to the scalp, it's crucial that the sensors can make contact with your scalp. If you're interested in participating, please note that your hair needs:

To be free of gels, hairsprays, oils, and conditioners that day of the visit.
To be combable. All ponytails, buns, and braids will need to be taken out prior to the visit.
To be completely dry.
