The Johns Hopkins Public Safety Training Team will be hosting monthly Response to Active Assailant Training, commonly referred to as run, hide, fight. This training is designed for Johns Hopkins students, faculty, and staff during an active assailant event. All are welcome, but there is a capacity on attendance due to room size. Pre-registration is appreciated, but all will be allowed in when there is adequate seating.
In the coming days/months, the training will be announced as part of the daily announcements and offered in three locations:
- Bloomberg Student Center: Feb. 10, March 3, April 8, May 12, June 10, and July 1)
- School of Medicine (2024 E. Monument St.): Feb. 4, March 11, April 15, May 13, June 3, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 7, and Nov. 11
- Scott-Bates Commons: Aug. 11, Sept. 9, Oct. 13, Nov. 11, and Dec. 1
