Looking for fun summer learning options for your child? Registration is open for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth's summer 2026 day, residential, and online courses, and full-time JHU employees can receive 50% off their child's tuition.
CTY's three-week day and residential programs will take place on school and college campuses across the U.S., including JHU and the Gilman School in Baltimore, and a new site in suburban Washington, D.C., at The Woods Academy in Bethesda. Day courses are open to advanced learners in grades 2-8 and residential courses are open to students in grades 5-12. Enrollment is also open for summer online courses in a variety of subjects for students in grades 2-12.
CTY courses go beyond traditional school offerings, giving students in grades 2-12 opportunities to dive deep into subjects they're passionate about and join a community of kids who love to learn. CTY designs programs specifically for advanced learners—students who thrive when challenged, move quickly through material, and love exploring ideas in depth.
To get started, families should join CTY and then register for testing or submit qualifying test scores to determine which courses are the best fit for their child.
