Researchers at Johns Hopkins are in need of healthy adult male volunteers with type O+ blood to study malaria parasites and to sustain mosquito colonies used in crucial malaria research.
This research study involves a blood draw about every 8 weeks, and participants will be paid $75 at each visit.
You may qualify if:
- 18 or older
- O+ blood type
- Not been to malarious area in the past 10 years
- Not regularly taking a prescription or over-the-counter medication
- Willing to return repeatedly over time to donate
