Healthy youth (ages 12 to 17) volunteers needed for anxiety research study

What is this study about? This research study seeks to provide insight into the brain-body connection in youth.

Who can participate? Youth 12 to 17 years old who are right-handed, fluent in English, and able to undergo MRI scan (no metal in the body). Participants with or without OCD, anxiety, and anorexia are welcome to participate.

Where will the study take pace? This study takes place across four in-person visits (12 hours total) at the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus.

What will happen if I choose to participate? Youth will complete questionnaires, do computer tasks, undergo an MRI scan, and do several mindfulness and relaxation exercises in virtual reality.

Will I be compensated? Yes. Participants will receive $50 per study visit, up to $200 total.
