Undergrad fellowship opportunities, self-nominations open

The Center for Social Concern supports the formal nominations process for two students to participate in either the Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellowship, or the Transform Mid-Atlantic Civic Fellowship.

For the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, students who are interested and meet the baseline criteria of being a full-time student for the upcoming academic year are highly encouraged to self-nominate.

The opportunity to self-nominate opened Monday, Oct. 6, and will close on Friday, Dec. 12.

Students can self-nominate via this form, which includes details of both fellowships.

To self-nominate, the students must be prepared to provide the following:

  • A professional headshot
  • Resume
  • Two references
  • Answer questions in an essay format
  • Documents outlining intended goals/projects to be achieved within the fellowship
