Researchers are looking for volunteers to participate in a study on health and the immune system following Lyme disease. Volunteers should be at least 18 years of age and without a history of Lyme disease or Lyme disease vaccination.
What is involved? An initial screening visit followed by two study visits over six months. The two visits include questionnaires about your health, a physical exam, a urine sample, and a blood draw. Each visit lasts one to one and a half hours and is conducted at the Johns Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center at Green Spring Station in Lutherville, Maryland.
There is no financial cost for participating. In return for your contribution, you will receive free physical exams, testing for Lyme disease, and $100 for completing all study visits.
