The Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation is pleased to offer Best Practices in University Teaching (BPUT), a multiday workshop for Johns Hopkins faculty. The workshop will present pedagogical best practices used at Johns Hopkins and peer institutions. This is a great opportunity for new faculty who are interested in learning about evidence-based teaching practices, but it is open to all Johns Hopkins faculty and lecturers from any discipline. External university colleagues are also welcome to attend.
The Teaching Academy website has complete information about the summer workshop. It will be held online, via Zoom, from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 11. Details including fees and tuition remission, registration, and a schedule of topics to be discussed are on the Teaching Academy website.
Guests from other institutions are welcome. If you want more information or have questions, contact Caroline Egan, program manager, CTEI, at caroline.egan@jhu.edu.
