To All Employees and Students:
Due to construction on the corner of Monument and Rutland, there will be a temporary change to Shuttle Bus Route 8 (Monument St) effective March 31. This change will be in effect approximately 3 months and is expected to add a minimal amount of additional time to the route.
Key changes:
- Bus route change: The original route (colored in red) shows that the bus drives on East Madison Street, turns left on Rutland Avenue, and then turns left again onto East Monument Street. The new route (colored in blue) shows that the bus will instead go down on East Madison Street, turn left on North Broadway, and then turn left again onto East Monument Street.
- Bus stop relocated: The original bus stop (noted with a red circle) is on the left side of East Monument Street against the Rutland Garage. The new bus stop will be on the right side of East Monument Street in front of the Carnegie Building. Please note that the new bus stop will not have a cover, but shuttle users are able to stay within the building while waiting for the shuttle.
