Whiting-Turner will conduct a scheduled crane lift from 7 a.m. to noon at the northwest corner of Wyman Building 1 on Saturday, Feb. 22, with a backup date of Saturday, March 1, in case of inclement weather.
Emergency egress from the building will remain accessible, and in the event of an emergency exit from stair 1, flaggers will temporarily pause crane operations to ensure safe passage. Flaggers will be in place to escort the crane and service truck through the parking lot.
For safety, a temporary fence will enclose the crane, and cones and danger tape will mark its potential swing area. Please use caution in the area and refer to the crane logistics plan below for more details.
