Apply for a BIRCWH K12 Award by Feb. 21

The Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health (BIRCWH) K12 program is accepting applications for the 2025 BIRCWH Award. BIRCWH supports the career development of full-time faculty focused on research in women's health and on sex and gender differences. This two-year program is funded by the NIH Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH) and National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

Scholars receive up to $100,000 in salary support and up to $50,000 for research/career development support and travel.

Accepted applicants will be provided rigorous and innovative training, will help to develop and execute a clinical research project, will be mentored in a multidisciplinary and collaborative research environment, and will be involved in activities to promote career development.
