AI Meets Evidence-Based Learning: A New Era for Student Success

In this interactive session, we will explore how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to enhance student learning by reducing cognitive load, improving organization and structure in study materials, and fostering deeper engagement with content. Participants will learn how AI tools can help students prepare more effectively for in-class learning and implement evidence-based strategies such as spaced-active recall, interleaving, elaboration, dual coding, and concrete examples. By integrating AI with cognitive science principles, educators can empower students to become more efficient, independent learners, ultimately improving retention and academic performance.
