Scaffolding at Gilman Hall Jan. 27 to Feb. 17

On Monday, Jan. 27, scaffolding will be installed around Gilman Hall to replace the building's dormer windows. The scaffolding will start on the south side of the building, move to the front of the building, and finish at the rear of the building. See below for a list of the areas that will require scaffolding, the dates the scaffolding will be constructed, and a logistics plan.

Jan. 27 to 30: The south side (left) of the building. During this time, the pathway will be closed, and pedestrians will be rerouted through the tunnel or Gilman Hall. ADA accessibility is available at the alternate route.

Jan. 31 to Feb. 7: The east side (front) of the building. There are two areas that will be affected, one on each side of the entrance. Construction in these two areas will alternate in order to maintain uninterrupted ADA access to the main entrance. One side will be open at all times.

Feb. 10 to 17: The west side (rear) of the building. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. ADA entrances already have scaffolding installed and will maintain uninterrupted ADA access at the rear of the building.

The logistics plan is here.
