Johns Hopkins University requires all students, trainees, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and staff to receive an annual flu vaccine. The deadline to receive your flu shot and upload documentation is Friday, Nov. 15.
Additionally, religious or medical exception requests must be submitted by Oct. 31. Employees should submit requests via the Vaccine Management System; students should submit requests via MyHealth Portal. There is no need to reapply if you had a religious exception approved last year.
The flu vaccine requirement does not apply to JHU affiliates who are 100% remote.
Several on-site JHU clinics are planned between now and the Nov. 15 deadline. Flu shots are also available at Walgreens or via your pharmacy or primary care physician.
More information is available on the flu vaccine policy website.
