This migration will take place on Nov. 9 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the migration, the following can be expected:
Access to the Sympa Website: The Sympa website will be unavailable for a short period during the migration.
Email Delivery: Email distribution for messages sent to Sympa for lists ending in @lists.jh.edu or @lists.johnshopkins.edu will be delayed during certain parts of the migration. Messages will eventually be processed and delivered post-migration.
Emergency Lists: Specific lists identified for emergency use will continue to operate and will not be impacted by this migration.
Sympa Service: There are no visual or functional changes being made to Sympa. It will look and feel the same.
If you need to receive a communication through Sympa that is time-sensitive during the migration, it is recommended that you come up with an alternate communication strategy during the migration timeline.
