Free violin or piano lessons taught by second-year MM performance/pedagogy intern

There are currently a few openings available for JHU students who have previously studied violin or piano and progressed to intermediate or advanced level.

Lessons are free: eight weekly lessons in the fall semester, 12 in the spring semester.

Students interested and connected to a teacher will be asked to sign a video release form. A few lessons will be recorded to be shared with the intern's Pedagogy Advisory Committee for the purpose of receiving feedback on their teaching and/or suggestions for developing your technique and musicality.

If you are interested in receiving approximately 20 lessons during the 2024-25 academic year, email
