Join the Public Art Selection Committee

Building on last year's success of a new public arts effort, and in keeping with the aims of the JHU's Diverse Names and Narratives Project, the university is seeking interested community members to join this year's Public Art Selection Committee. The goal is to select artwork by local artists representing a broad range of perspectives. Committee members are expected to attend three to four Zoom meetings during the fall semester, as well as attend at least one artist studio tour to view works in person. Experience in the visual arts is not required.

If interested in participating, email DiverseNamesandNarratives@jhu.edu by Oct. 16 and include a paragraph explaining why you would like to join the committee.
