Introducing Johns Hopkins University's Office of Youth Safety

Johns Hopkins University is committed to providing a secure environment for everyone on its campuses and in its activities, including the youth participants. Members of the Johns Hopkins community who interact with minors in any official capacity are expected to foster and maintain an appropriate and secure environment for minors. JHU prohibits the operation of any program covered by the policy that does not adhere to the policy requirements and applicable laws and regulations.

The Office of Youth Safety is responsible for registering youth activities and overseeing their compliance practices. It also provides resources for screening logistics, applicable state laws, and governing JHU's safety of minors in university programs.
