This study measures CFTR function in healthy controls, healthy cystic fibrosis (CF) carriers, and CF carriers with cystic fibrosis–like illness who are between age 5 and 80. Participants will have a five-minute nasal brushing performed at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, a review of their medical history for CF-like illnesses, and saliva collection. They will be reimbursed for one meal and given a parking sticker.
