IGTC at Bloomberg School of Public Health promotes World No Tobacco Day 2024

How far will the tobacco industry go to beckon young consumers toward a lifetime of nicotine addiction and tobacco use? For World No Tobacco Day 2024, the Institute for Global Tobacco Control at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health invites you to expand your awareness about tobacco and nicotine product advertising that persistently targets youth and tell the tobacco industry once and for all: "Unfollow me."

Join students and young adults around the world who refuse to be targeted by the tobacco industry's youth-obsessed marketing. IGTC's World No Tobacco Day "Call to Unfollow" Video Contest invites you to submit a 60 second (or less) "call to unfollow" video telling the tobacco industry why they need to stop targeting youth—and you.

  • Why do you refuse to be their latest target?
  • Are there specific facts that support your case?
  • What are your reasons for demanding an end to youth-targeted tobacco advertising?

Record and upload your eligible <60 second video and be entered to win an Institute for Global Tobacco Control prize pack. Look for selected videos to be highlighted on IGTC's YouTube and social media channels.
