In Spring 2023, CTEI started a journal club focused on teaching and learning topics in higher education. It is inspired and informed by faculty in the JHU Biology Department who ran it enthusiastically in pre-pandemic times. The CTEI Ed Journal club encompasses all disciplines, so everyone from all fields is free to join us at CTEI's lounge in the Garrett Room (Milton S. Eisenhower Library facing the Quad & the Beach). We highly encourage participants to also select articles and lead the discussion!
From 2 to 3 p.m. on May 10, join Dean @Emily Braley as she leads the discussion on teaching & learning specialists. We will read "A longitudinal perspective of the experiences and career trajectories of discipline-based education specialists in teaching and learning in higher education" (Code et al., 2023).
