Researchers seek participants for transcranial magnetic stimulation study

The Neuroplasticity and Development Lab (PI: Dr. Marina Bedny) is seeking participants for a transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, research study. Its purpose is to investigate how the human brain adapts to blindness. Participating in this research study involves listening to stories and sounds, touching nonpainful objects, and answering questions while undergoing TMS. Each study session lasts between one and three hours. Participants are compensated $30 per hour for their time.

To qualify for this study, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 75 and have no history of epilepsy, seizure, or any other neurological disability and have no metal or electronic devices in or on your head. To learn more and complete the screening interview, contact the lab by emailing plasticity_lab@jhu.edu.
