In this study, researching are working to measure CFTR function in healthy controls, healthy cystic fibrosis (CF) carriers, and CF carriers with cystic fibrosis-like illness. What is involved? A five-minute nasal brushing performed at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, a review of your medical history for CF-like illnesses, and a saliva sample.
Participants must be between 5 and 80 years old. They will be reimbursed for one meal. If you are interested in participating, contact Audrey Pion at apion1@jh.edu.
