Education Research Workshop

When: June 3-6
Where: Hybrid (virtual via Zoom and the Garrett Room at Milton S. Eisenhower Library). 12 maximum for in-person participants (first-come, first-served). Unlimited space for virtual participants.
Who: For faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students at JHU and beyond
What: This workshop series provides an overview of education research and hands-on exposure to qualitative and quantitative methods in this realm.

6/4/24 @ 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. = What Is Qualitative (Qual) Research?
6/4/24 @ 1:15-4:15 p.m. = Qual: Interviews and Observations + Analysis
6/5/24 @ 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. = What Is Quantitative (Quant) Research?
6/5/24 @ 1:15-4:15 p.m. = Quant: Surveys + Analysis
6/6/24 @ 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. = Mixed Methods, Exploring Ed Research Literature, and Wrap-up

Meals and Refreshments (for in-person participants only): Breakfast, snacks, and light refreshments will be provided daily. Lunch will be provided on June 4 (Tuesday) and June 5 (Wednesday).
