Camp Blue Jay

Johns Hopkins University Athletics and Recreation announces the debut of Camp Blue Jay this summer for children in grades K-6. The camp curriculum is designed to offer a wide variety of recreational programs to meet the interests of all campers. The weekly program offers arts and crafts, sport-specific programs, indoor and outdoor recreational games, Friday movies, and swimming/water activities.

Campers will experience an energetic, enthusiastic, and fun atmosphere that will give them the chance to learn new things. All of us want to grow in big and small ways, and we strive to assist all campers to do so.

The camp is held in the shared spaces of athletics and recreation, including Goldfarb Gym, the Newton White Athletic Center–Natatorium, the Wall-O'Mahoney Student-Athlete Lounge, Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium, the Blue Jay Tennis Courts, the Ralph S. O'Connor Center for Recreation and Well-Being, and Homewood Field. Each location will have activities that enhance the camper's day and that strive to offer challenges to pique interest.
