Learning objectives:
- Discuss hesitancies around active learning
- Design an active learning activity for one of your course lessons; participants will get to choose the modality
- Discuss how active learning ensures inclusivity for students and the clear data outcomes that support its impact on student learning
- Identify factors when translating active learning into delivery across the various teaching modalities (e.g., in-person, online, synchronous/asynchronous)
