Seeking volunteers for local STEM Expo

Want to get off campus this spring to support a Homewood neighborhood, STEM-related, family event? We're seeking volunteers to help run Barclay School's annual Science and Engineering Expo on Thursday, April 18. The event for Barclay families has multiple volunteer shifts, runs from 3:30to 7:30 p.m., and comes with a T-shirt and complimentary meal! Walkable from the Homewood campus! We need folks to help with registration, a photo booth, multiple hands-on engineering challenges ( the Egg Drop Challenge is a highlight), setup and cleanup. Have fun, and connect with your Homewood community. No special STEM knowledge needed! All volunteers need to go through a free clearance process in order to work with youth that evening.

Sign up on Hopkins Engage by Thursday, April 4. Sponsored by the Barclay Hopkins STEM Partnership.
