New universal, level 2 electric vehicle (EV) chargers are now available for use in the San Martin Garage on the Homewood campus to provide convenient and sustainable charging options for your electric vehicles. Tesla owners are welcome to bring their own adapter to use the chargers.
Located on Level P1, the chargers will be free for all employees to use, though regular parking rates for the garage still apply. Eleven EV chargers (six Tesla and five universal) are also available in Homewood's South Garage. That number will eventually be increased to better accommodate employees' needs.
If you are interested in switching your monthly parking permit to the San Martin Garage to take advantage of this new amenity, contact Parking Services at parking@jhu.edu or apply on the Request Parking Permit webpage of the Johns Hopkins Facilities and Real Estate website. The EV chargers are part of the university's ongoing commitment to creating greener, more environmentally friendly campuses.
