2024-25 application for the Student Advisory Committee for Public Safety (SACPS)

We are excited to announce that the 2024-25 application for the Student Advisory Committee for Public Safety (SACPS) is now live and can be found here. The application will close at 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2024.

The Johns Hopkins University Student Advisory Committee for Public Safety is a universitywide advisory committee that serves as a forum for students to discuss public safety matters of broad interest with the vice president for public safety. As a consultative body, the SACPS will provide feedback and recommendations to the vice president for public safety through informed and collegial conversation.

Eleven seats are available on the committee, and applications are due on March 15. Membership of the committee is for a one -year term, though students are welcome to reapply. All students (undergraduate and graduate) from all JHU campuses are invited to apply, as the goal is for the committee to broadly represent Johns Hopkins University and reflect the diversity of the university community.
