Young adults age 18-25 who are either daily vapers or nonvapers/nonsmokers are needed in a JHU research study that looks at metals in e-cigarettes (disposable vapes) and how they affect the health of your lungs.
Participants come in for a one-time 90-minute study session. They will be asked to bring their disposable vape to collect the aerosol samples. Researchers will also administer a questionnaire, collect biospecimen samples (urine, blood), and conduct a pulmonary function test.
Your participation in this study may help researchers better understand the health effects of vaping. (PI: Ana Rule; IRB: IRB00006748)
