The 27th volume of the journal is themed "Risk and Opportunity." Tensions in global affairs have increased over the past few years, with significant changes in geopolitical relations and major policy changes, ranging from the war in Ukraine, China's increasing multilateral engagement, EU regulations on climate and sustainability, the recent Israel-Hamas war, and emerging technology and AI. By focusing on risk and opportunity, the journal is seeking a broad range of works to engage and challenge the international relations community in the world's most pressing issues.
