Space@Hopkins 2024: Call for Seed Grant proposals

The 2024 Space@Hopkins Seed Grant program, with grants of up to $25,000 for one year, is now open for proposals for space-related projects. Topics of the proposed projects may include, but are not limited to, robotics, astronaut health, planetary sciences, solar physics, Earth science, spacecraft engineering, sensors, and astrophysics. Civilian space-related proposals are welcome from all Johns Hopkins divisions.

The proposed work must be relevant to Space@Hopkins and JHU institutional research priorities, provide undergraduate research opportunities, and have excellent prospects for leading to external research support. Preference will be given to interdisciplinary work, but this is not required. The Seed Grant period of performance will be from Sept. 1, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2025.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, May 17. Details about the Space@Hopkins Seed Grant program and proposal instructions are available on the program's website.

Please contact Space@Hopkins (Yuzo Ishikawa, Space Fellow) at spacestudies@jhu.edu with any questions about the proposal process or to sign up for the email list to receive announcements about all our future events.
