Johns Hopkins University's Inaugural Substitute Teaching Corps (STC) entered Baltimore City Public Schools (BCPS) in fall 2023. Through a combination of paid work and professional development experiences, JHU undergraduates support BCPS, gain valuable skills, build their resumes, and explore careers in education. To participate, undergraduates must be accepted into the STC program and hired as substitute teachers by BCPS.
