The deans' offices of Arts and Sciences and Engineering, in cooperation with the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI), the Teaching Academy, and the Graduate Representative Organization (GRO), are sponsoring an initial teaching assistant orientation session titled Making the Difference. Since effective teaching is essential to both your academic future and our students' university education, participation in the TA Orientation is mandatory for all graduate and undergraduate students who will be teaching assistants for the first time in the spring 2024 semester.
The Teaching Assistant (TA) Orientation will be held online via a Canvas training site with an optional in-person training session offered on Thursday, Jan. 18. To register, click on the event webpage of the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation website.
