Researchers at the Center for Language and Speech Processing (CLSP) are seeking volunteers to help advance the future of AI speech processing.
The researchers are collecting casual and spontaneous conversations to construct a database that will assist them in training expressive AI models for dialogue. In each session, the participants will be asked to engage in a recorded conversation about various topics. Conducted through an app, the conversations are intended to be casual and relaxed, resembling telephone-like interactions. Each session includes a few minutes for participants to familiarize themselves with the app, a flexible duration for discussing the topic, and a feedback survey.
As a token of appreciation, a $5 Amazon gift card will be given to participants for each complete hour dedicated to the study.
