Community-Based Learning courses now available for spring 2024

Community-Based Learning is a pedagogical model that engages students, faculty, and Baltimore City co-educators (community partners, e.g., nonprofit and government agencies) in coursework and community engagement that support academic learning objectives and community co-educator identified needs.

Johns Hopkins University encourages undergraduate students to foster and embrace a sense of civic engagement and social responsibility during their career at Hopkins. To accomplish this, the Center for Social Concern's goal is to support CBL, expand community engagement, and increase academic learning through real world enriching experiences.
