Every year, the annual Whiting School of Engineering Excellence in Teaching, Advising, and Mentoring Awards provide WSE students, faculty, and staff with the opportunity to honor those faculty, research mentors, academic advisers, teaching assistants, and administrators who have excelled as educators, advisers, and mentors.
WSE would like to encourage you to consider recognizing these individuals by nominating them for one of the teaching, advising, or mentorship awards. The criteria for these awards include actively engaging students, building community, impacting students' lives, promoting diversity, and fostering a culture of inclusion. The nominee does not have to excel in all criteria but should have distinguished themselves substantially in at least one.
