Workshop: How to have difficult conversations in the classroom

Please join the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation for a discussion on How to Facilitate Difficult Conversations in the Classroom. The discussion will start with several faculty sharing best practices they use in their courses. The conversation will then open up for participants to ask questions or share strategies they use. We hope this will be an opportunity for the community to learn from our collective experiences.

The event is scheduled for 4 to 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 9. Register to help us identify who will join in person or online. We are tentatively planning to host the discussion at the CTEI located in the MSE Library Garrett Room on the Homewood campus but will try to find another space if registrations require it. Those who register to participate online will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.
