Cigarette smokers needed for research study

Healthy adults at least 21 years old are needed to take part in a Johns Hopkins research study. Researchers are seeking cigarette smokers who are not seeking treatment to quit smoking.

Participants who are eligible and agree to be in the study will use nicotine pouches of different nicotine strengths and flavors, as well as cigarettes, in seven different lab sessions, each lasting about five hours. Those who complete the study can earn up to $1,030.

The study will require eight total visits to the lab, located at the Bayview Medical Center. Participants will first complete an in-person screening session, lasting about two hours, to determine study eligibility.
