The Johns Hopkins University ALIVE Study is conducting research among people who currently and formerly injected drugs. Participants will be asked questions about their drug using activities, sexual behaviors, and personal health. Each person will receive free, confidential screening for HIV infection, hepatitis B and C viruses, and counseling about the results of these tests. We welcome any adult (18 years or older) who has injected drugs to call the ALIVE Study at 410-955-7510 to learn more about the study or to schedule an appointment.
