Due to rainy weather, the Wyman 1 crane lift originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21. The demolition contractor reevaluated the amount of time required to complete the work and advised that the crane will be in operation for two consecutive days, Saturday, Oct. 21, and Sunday, Oct. 22. Estimated work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The crane setup will be at the northwest corner of Wyman 1, farthest point from West 31st Street. Vehicular traffic will not be impeded. A temporary construction fence will surround the work area. A rain date has not been given.
