Call for applications: Undergraduate research grants

The Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity (URSCA) invites applications for our one-year research awards, which provide funding for undergraduate students in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences to pursue independent projects ranging from running self-designed experiments in a wet lab to writing a memoir; from curating an art exhibition to building a novel medical device; from conducting international archival research to producing a documentary film.

To apply for a research grant, first submit a pre-application, which will include a 100-word personal statement, a brief abstract of your project, and a budget summary. The pre-application is due by Oct. 20. URSCA staff will give you feedback on it and help you prepare to submit a full proposal at the end of November.

See the URSCA website for details.
