Construction barriers to expand the Homewood Student Center construction site will be erected the week of Sept. 4.
The pedestrian walkway located between Brody Learning Commons and Merrick Barn will be closed. A temporary pathway leading to the exterior stair located between Brody and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library will be created to allow pedestrian traffic to access the Keyser Quad, BLC, and MSEL upper-level entrances.
All the entrances to MSEL, Brody, and Merrick will remain accessible. Signs directing pedestrian traffic to alternate pathways leading to and from Charles Street, the Beach, and Keyser Quad will be erected to help navigate around the barriers. Pedestrians exiting the BLC on the lower level should use the Keyser Breezeway to access the central campus and destinations east of MSEL.
