In collaboration with a local charter school, the Center for Neurodevelopmental and Imaging Research at Kennedy Krieger is looking for instructors to lead 2nd and 3rd graders during Mindful Movement classes!
What is the Mindful Movement (MM) program?
Teaches 2nd and 3rd graders mindfulness and social-emotional techniques through yoga and tai chi to improve attentional, motor, and emotional control
Time commitment for the MM program
Two 45-minute classes twice a week (Mondays & Fridays 1-2:30) during the 2023-24 school year at a local charter school
What are we looking for?
Experience working with elementary school-age children
Preferred training in yoga, tai chi, or meditation
Preferred training in counseling and/or mentoring
What is compensation? $25/hr
