Research study recruitment

The Johns Hopkins University ALIVE Study is conducting research among people who currently and formerly injected drugs. Participants will be asked questions about their drug-using activities, sexual behaviors, and personal health. Each person will receive free, confidential screening for HIV infection and hepatitis B and C virus, as well as counseling about the results of these tests.

Any adult (age 18 or older) who has injected drugs is invited to call the ALIVE Study at 410-955-7510 to learn more about the study or to schedule an appointment.
