The JHU Sustainability Leadership Council welcomes faculty, students, and staff from across the entire university to collaborate to develop recommendations for university leadership and implement progress toward JHU sustainability goals. Apply to join by May 5.
Members commit to meeting monthly for the next academic year to develop innovative solutions that advance sustainability priorities, to strategize around new sustainability practices and challenges, and to expand collaboration and communication across JHU.
The council has contributed to the design and launch of initiatives such as the multidisciplinary energy minor, the Green Labs Program, the Sustainability Research Directory, faculty cluster hires in sustainability, grants for electric fleet vehicles, transitioning to electric shuttle buses, and more.
